Oscar graduated from Jefferson High School in Daly City, CA in 1983. Following graduation, with a desire to follow in his father’s footsteps, he worked alongside his father and developed a passion for concrete construction.
Oscar worked for Al Diodati Construction out of South San Francisco, CA as a laborer. He operated equipment and a dump truck and took leadership on job sites. While working with Al Diodati as his primary employer, Oscar also assisted Golden West Concrete and Casey -Fogli Concrete Construction as a laborer.
Oscar continued to excel at Casey Fogli and ultimately transitioned into a full-time position. He progressed to delivering material to job sites, operating curb machines, backhoes, and bobcats.
In 1999 Oscar was promoted to the position of Superintendent. Oscar continues to develop strong leadership skills both in the field and in the construction industry, including working for the Foundation for Fair Contracting as a field representative ensuring non-union contractors were paying the correct prevailing wage scale and monitoring work on prevailing wage job sites.
